Due Dilligence expertise

I possess a strong proficiency in conducting internal audits and due diligence processes, encompassing funding, finance, program management, and organizational governance. I have extensive experience working with Key Population communities, networks, and NGOs across Africa, Latin America, Europe, and the EECA region.

In collaboration with other consultants, I have been involved in the Robert Carr Foundation (RCF) due diligence process for 65 NGO/network partners applying for the RCF 2021 network grant-making funding round. Additionally, I contributed to the Aidsfonds due diligence of the 9 grantees – the youth networks.

My expertise lies in assessing the governance and financial management risks of low-capacity organizations, particularly those consisting of or representing Key Populations, working in challenging legislative or funding environments. I am highly sensitive to the challenges faced by local teams and can effectively and objectively assess their risks. Moreover, I am skilled in providing constructive feedback, identifying areas where additional capacity support or funding is necessary.
